Marketing Coordinator / Troy, Michigan

From day one, this individual will contribute to the existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including social media, communications, advertising, branding, and proposal creation. The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Required QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or a similar related field of study or equivalent work experience.
- 0-3 Years of marketing experience, experience in engineering/architecture/construction industry preferred but not required.
- Intermediate expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of email and social media software preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others under strict deadlines.
- Highly detailed-oriented, self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, and flexible.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Collaborates with Marketing Manager and Project Managers to create a wide range of content for the firm, including proposals, brochures, social media, web pages, presentations, career and trade fair materials, internal communications and special projects as needed.
- Manage social media for G2’s LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram pages. This includes content creation, scheduling, posting, engagement, and monthly analytics reports.
- Create graphics and engaging images/videos for social media, website, and eblasts using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist in maintaining the company web site and staff directory.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of external communications for the office in the form of advertising, direct mail, and eblasts.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of internal communications in the form of a monthly e-newsletter.
- Create new and update existing proposal materials.
- Represent company at select industry events.
- Perform additional assignments as requested by the Marketing Manager and Project Managers.
