Geotechnical Instrumentation Technician / Ann Arbor, Michigan

G2 Consulting Group is seeking a motivated full-time Geotechnical Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team. This position involves the installation, monitoring, and data management of various geotechnical instruments.

Required QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Experience with geotechnical instrumentation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Install geotechnical instrumentation including, but not limited to, inclinometers, telltales, and vibration monitoring equipment.
  • Collect field data accurately and efficiently.
  • Create data summary spreadsheets using Excel.
  • Maintain and calibrate instrumentation equipment.
  • Operate company vehicles for transportation to and from job sites.
