G2 Consulting Group is looking for a full-time Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our growing team in Chicagoland, IL. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of geotechnical projects while supporting the growth of our Chicagoland office. The Project Engineer will be responsible for geotechnical analysis, field inspections, and managing client relationships to ensure project success.

G2 Consulting Group is looking for full-time staff engineers with three months to four years of demonstrated experience for its Construction Engineering Department in Lake Zurich, IL. Staff engineers perform and coordinate field inspections and investigations under the supervision of a project engineer or project manager. Principal duties will consist of construction observation and testing, laboratory testing, and report preparation. Testing duties will include earthwork, foundation, concrete, steel, masonry, and paving inspection at job sites.

G2 Consulting Group is looking for construction engineering interns primarily during the summer construction season and/or during the school year at our Chicago, IL office. Construction engineering interns perform construction observation and testing, laboratory testing, and report preparation within the construction engineering services group.  Testing duties include earthwork, foundation, concrete, steel, masonry, paving, and other construction materials at construction sites and in our labs. Interns work closely with project managers and other staff members to ensure timely, quality work.

G2 Consulting Group is looking for a full-time engineering technician to join our Lake Zurich, Illinois (Chicagoland) team.  The position is telecom focused and the technician will primarily assist with construction observation, testing, report preparation, and foundation mapping surveys.  Testing duties will primarily include foundations, reinforcing steel, and concrete.  The technician will work closely with project managers and other staff members to ensure timely, quality work.  Some travel is required for the position and the technician must have the ability to go out of town on short notice, typically for a duration of 2 to 3 days.
